Meet the Characters

Bob

B0B is based on the authors’ (Laura and Ben’s) van which is a bright orange VW cratfer! B0B, who is struck by rainbow magic altering his inner working, learns life lessons on his road to enlightenment! Find out what’s wrong with his fuel gauge here.

Graham

Graham came on to the scene in book one, leaving the van factory at the same time as Bob, and bestowing upon him some important wisdom on his road to enlightenment.

Rusty

Rusty is a well-travelled van, who has been rattling around Europe for a few decades. He loves to take the scenic route and is never in a rush. He also frequents many festivals and has many tales to tell!

Ethel

Ethel is a wise motorhome, who enjoys driving around, parking up in town and watching the world go by. She is a philosophical motorhome, who loves to see the good in everyone.

Greta

Greta, from Germany, arrived on the scene in book 1, where she learnt some valuable life lessons. She is now a reformed character, who finds joy in taking the scenic route and helping others.

Ray

Ray brings sunshine wherever they go and loves nothing more than roaming around the country lanes! They are good friends with Bob after he helped them when they ran out of oil.

Rose

Rose is a happy-go-lucky van who loves spending time at the lake and watching roaring campfires. She made good friends with Graham in book 2 when he helped her find her way.

Sky

Sky is a fun-loving campervan who wears her heart on her paintwork. She was feeling a bit down in book 2, until Rusty came along and cheered her up.

Jude

Jude has lived a life and has many stories to tell! He has a sparkle in his eye and enjoys camping around a roaring campfire, and meeting new people.
