Meet the Team!

Meet the Authors!

Laura Truepenny

✨Introducing Laura Truepenny, one half of Truependous Publishing! Inspired by her Buddhist practice, she loves writing enchanting tales weaving morals of kindness, compassion and self-reflection into stories where the characters are all campervans!

Laura’s journey, from the lively classrooms of MoD schools in Germany to creating a warm, supportive space for home-education and founding her tutoring business
Truependous Tutoring, has led her to where she is today. She adores her job as a specialist tutor. It was in the time between Germany and moving to Devon when Ben and Laura were cruising across Europe in Bob (the Big Orange Beast), that Bob on the Road to Enlightenment came to be.

Now, with Bob Pays it Forward, and the third tale, Bob and the Real Dill, Laura continues to captivate young minds, one joyous journey at a time! ✨

Ben Humphreys

🌟 Meet Ben Humphreys, the second imaginative mind fuelling the adventures of the Bob on the Road series! As a former head of Biology in British schools in Germany, and currently the Director of STEM at a local private school, Ben brings a wealth of educational experience to his writing.

When he’s not crafting captivating tales, you can find Ben embracing the great outdoors, indulging in camping trips, mountain biking excursions, and even embarking on quests to catch ’em all in the world of Pokémon! 🌟

She currently has an axolotl. She enjoys spending time outside and exploring nature with her family. Some of her favourite things are baths, naps and food! ✨

Samantics

In a bio taken directly from Samantics own website: Samantics is a one man machine of honesty, energy, words and noise. Using lyrics to portray his own unique vision of the world we’re all wandering, he speaks and screams from the centre of his erratic heart. Using a trolley full of sounds, ukulele, bass, beats, piano, harmonies, blips and bloops and and wobbly wobbs, all brought together with loop station and sampler to create a hot pot of powerful, noisy poetry. It’s not quite hip-hop, but it’s not quite not.
